My special hobby

I have a lot of hobbies such as: playing games, cooking rice , listening to music on the radio...Specially, I really like reading books because they simply give the reader pleasure and amusement. I always read interesting books written by famous authors. I often find them in the bookstore or on the internet in order to buy and read them. If I am tired or weary of my shoolwork, reading stories makes me relax. Thank for reading books, I can learn how to do everything for my life, and I can imagine everything when I read them. I like reading books, but I always consider to select my reading material. Some books I can skim whereas others I have to read carefully. Reading good books makes me realise the virtues of human being. Therefore, I often read books everywhere when I can. Sometimes, I read books and listen to music at the same time, it is exciting. Reading books wastes a lot of time more than other activities , but it is exciting and good for my mind. If you love reading books, you should choose the best, which you think, is valuable to you. When you are upset or lonely , you should read intertaining book to relax.

The University

I''m learning at University of Technical Education Ho Chi Minh City(UTE). When I was a child, my dream was to become an English teacher. Threfore, I determined to enroll at UTE.Now, my dream comes true. My first impression about UTE was surprise . It is bigger than my highshool. It's very large with the area of 17ha. It has more students, classrooms, teachers than my highshool. It has a lot of trees, especially big banyan tree in front of the main gate . The tree is very tall and beautiful. It is very comfortable and relaxing to sit under this big tree. In the university, there is a bigger leture_hall than my highshool in order to show or play a lot of things for studies. I have a lof of new friends from every area in the country. We usually work in group, share sorrow and happiness together. I'm really lucky when learning at the UTE, but I don't like the asmosphere here.The weather is too hot, everybody is busy and hurry with their study. I like the tranquility at my highshool. In the university, everybody must learn harder and me too. Sometime, I'm upset and bored because I miss my family, my friends and my old teachers when I live far away them. But I'm learning and know a lot of things from new teachers and new friends. My knowledge is expanded. I'm really happy to study at the UTE.

Friendship

To me, my family is the most important, but my friends are important too. What do you think about the best quality of a friend? In my opinion, the best quality of a friend is honesty. I'm lucky when I have a best friend. Her name is Lan, who is intelligent and humorous. Last year, I had a problem. I lost my golden ring which is very important to me. My mother had given it to me on my birthday party. Therefore, I was scary and I didn't tell my parents. When I asked for advice , she advised me to tell my parents, she said:''They wouldn't be angry because they love you". I believed in her and decided to tell my mother. As a result, they forgave me. In high school, she is not only a best friend but also a good student. She always makes her friends smile when they have trouble, so everybody loves her so much. I am really happy when I have an honest friend like her. She never tells lie anything. For example, if you do something bad, she does not hesitate to give you sincere feedback. She will share with you everything when she does or thinks. When you ask an honest friend's opinion about anything, she is willing to give you good advices. Lan is really my best close friend. I think, the honesty results in trust between you and your friend.

My Family

What do you think the most important in your life? Many people reply that money or time or heath... and so on. There are also other different ideas. For me, my family is more important than everything in the world. I was born in a big family with six people: my parents, my elder brother, my elder sister, my younger brother and I . We are close family. My parents take care of us, remind us to do good things, give up bad things and learn hard in the school. They are hard-working farmers who work on the farm in order to earn money for our life. So we love them very much. My father is the best man in the world. He spend most of time for my family especially for my younger brother. When I have any problem or secret, I usually share with my father than my mom then I feel more comfortable. My mother, who take care of us and cook very well, is a good woman. I learn how to make a good meal from her. I admire my elder brother and sister very much. They are good students at Nong Lam University. They are eager to study. So I must try my best to study well. Another person I love very much is my younger brother. He is an obedient student at grade 11 in Hung Vuong Highschool. When I request him to do houseworks such as washing dishes, cleaning floor, tidying room, he is willing to do anything.Before making an important dession, we always discuss together in order to get the best ideas. Every member in my family usually share sorrow or happiness together. My family is always my mental support and I couldn't live without them. I'm proud of my family.

The Person I Want to Become in the Future

In the life, everyone wants to have a suitable job in the future(1). Who do you want to become in the future? For me, I want to be an English teacher (1). There are two reasons why I like to be an English teacher. When I was a child, I played role as a teacher in my class (1). I like Enghish and I love my English teacher whose name is An (1) . She taught me for three years in the secondary school (1). She is very beautiful, kind and carrying(4). She usually took care of us such as giving us lessons in class and in life (2). She like our second mother (1). Another reason is that I was born in a poor village, so just a few children can go to school. And my school don't have enough teacher of English. I wish I would be an English teacher so that I can teach them lessons of English and life(2). And now I'm trying to learn to have my dream come true. Also, If I became an English teacher I could earn enough money to live on and support my family(2).

The Person I Admire Best

Have you ever admired anyone in your life(1)? For me, I admire my uncle best(1). He is 45 years old. When he was 35 years old his wife died in an accident(1). Now he is living with his two children without his wife in a small house in my village(5). My uncle, who works hard on the field, is a teacher in the secondary shool(1). He work hard every day in order to earn money for his children 's life so he looks very old with suntanned skin and suntanned hands(1). My uncle is very happy when his two chidren get good achivements in their life(4). When I have any problem, I usually tell my uncle then he always gives me helpful advices so I love him very much(1). I consider him as my father(2). He is experienced, humorous, generous(4).Sometime, he tells funny stories, it makes me and everyone laugh when we listen to(1). He always helps his neighbours when they need such as: repairing the roof, mending the door, giving money to poor people and so on. So I think I will do something for him when I grow up(1). Because,thank to him I learn many things in my life(1).
